This month’s emfluence Marketing Platform updates include the implementation of two-factor authentication (2FA), a single sign-on (SSO) option via Okta, improvements to our Dynamics integration, and more. See what our community has asked for and what we built:

Reports

LS Asks: Can you make the Domain report downloadable as a PDF?

On the Summary page of a sent email, you can now download the list as a PDF in addition to the existing Domain report spreadsheet.

API

BC Asks: Can you allow us to search by emailID for Activities data when using emfluence’s API?

EmailID has been added as a search parameter to the contacts/activities API endpoint, allowing you to return activities for a specific email deployment.

Landing Pages

SL Asks: I’m having trouble scheduling an end date for a landing page several years into the future. Can you help with this?

A bug was reported with landing pages when the optional end date was set more than five years in the future. This issue has now been fixed.

2FA

As a security measure, emfluence has now enforced 2FA for all platform users. If you save trusted devices (a mix of IP, computer and browser) you will be prompted for two-factor less often as long as you are logging in from one of the saved trusted devices. Any time you are logging in from a new location, computer, or browser, you will be required to confirm your identity through two-factor.

SSO

Speaking of security improvements, emfluence has begun the process of including a SSO option for accounts. The first version of this, which we plan to have available next month, will be compatible with Okta. Other providers may be added in the future depending on demand and the cost of development. Microsoft Dynamics Improvements

We’ve made some behind-the-scenes improvements to our Microsoft Dataverse integration to increase performance for larger data sets.

NOTE: Entity records without an email address will fail to connect, since emfluence requires an email to save a record. To avoid sync errors, we recommend using a System View that filters out records missing an email address.
