This month’s emfluence Marketing Platform updates include enhancements to the Campaigns main view and download, new combined image and total size metrics in emails, a last verified date indicator for social accounts, and more. See what our community has asked for and what we built:
Campaigns
JB Asks: I’d love to be able to sort the columns in the Campaign section.
Campaign results shown in the main view can now be sorted (ascending or descending) by Title, Status, Dates, number of Manual Emails, number of Automated Emails, Number of Social Messages, and number of Landing Pages.
JB Asks: Can you add the numbers shown in Campaigns to the download?
The counts displayed in the Campaign list view—indicating how many manual emails, automated emails, social messages, and more are included in each campaign—are now also included in the download.
Groups
TE Asks: When looking at a group’s detail page, it would be helpful to see if the group is used by an automated SMS.
Just like the references used for automated emails and workflows, a reference has now been added to groups to indicate if they are connected to an automated SMS message.
TD Asks: Can you make it easier to see my group’s relationship to a data sync?
You can always view this connection in the Contacts section when looking at a data sync. Now, when viewing a group, you’ll also see a notation if the group is linked to a data sync—similar to the indicators used for dynamic group queries, automated emails, automated SMS messages, or workflows.
Email Builder: Image Size
SD Asks: Can you show image size in the email?
The email size feature, which has always shown the HTML size (minus images), will now show the combined size for all images in an email and the total size including both images and HTML.
NOTE: For image size to be calculated, all images in your email must originate from your account. A previous feature rollout also added the individual image sizes to the Image & Link checker found on the Preview step.
Social Media: Account Verification
CA Asks: Can you make it easier to see when our social accounts were last verified?
In the Managed Accounts list view, you’ll now see a “Last Verified Date” column, making it easier to track when each account was last verified. Since changes to the social network—like new rollouts or expired verification tokens—can require re-verification, we recommend verifying accounts regularly to avoid any data gaps.
Query Builder: True/False
JB Asks: Can you let me search for ‘is not true’ for a True/False field in Query Builder?
We’ve updated the Query Builder logic for True/False fields to now support searching for values that “do not equal” True or False.
